How this started

The founding team at Meisyg spent a combined eighteen years working inside German corporates and mid-sized manufacturing companies before starting the firm in 2019. Not advising them — working inside them.

That experience produced a specific kind of knowledge: how decisions actually move through a German organisation, which silences are diplomatic and which signal a real problem, how the legal and procurement apparatus connects to the human relationships underneath it.

The gap we kept seeing was consistent. International companies — particularly those from the UK, US, and Eastern Europe — were technically well-prepared and culturally under-prepared. Not because they had not read about Germany. Because reading about it does not give you the pattern recognition to read a specific room on a specific day.

Meisyg was set up to provide that, as a service.

What we are not

We are not a market research firm, a law firm, or a translation agency. We do not do market sizing reports or help companies build distribution networks. We are specifically useful at the point where a real conversation with a real German-speaking counterpart is happening or about to happen.

We are also not generalists. The firm is small by choice. Each engagement is handled by someone who has worked on the same kind of problem before, not delegated to a junior team member following a methodology.
